However, “The Edge of Glory” started selling considerable amount of digital downloads, prompting Gaga to make it the third single from Born This Way. Hence “Hair” became the first promotional release from the album. The song was written and produced by Gaga and RedOne. “Hair” debuted at at #12 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.
